Soccer Rocks defeat Lexington Catholic in season opener

The Trinity soccer Rocks opened the season with an impressive 4-0 victory over Lexington Catholic on Tuesday night.  After a 1-0 score at halftime, the Rocks exploded for three late goals to run away with the victory. 

Sam Stockton led the way with a goal and an assist, and Luke Williams added a goal.  Derek Nafziger and Daniel Sykes also scored for the Rocks.

Up next, Trinity travels to northern Kentucky on Saturday to play Highlands at 11 a.m., before returning home for next week’s district matchup against Waggener.
