Junior golfer William Hudson played a remarkable season this year for the Trinity High School Golf Rocks. Hudson and the Golf Rocks as a team had seven total wins this year, making this year one of the best. Hudson had the goal to cap the season off with a state title.
Hudson has many professional golfers he could cite as inspirations, but one in particular stands out to him. “It would be Jordan Spieth and his putting game.” Hudson is a great putter and a lot of that has to do with his role model and one of the best putters in the world.
Hudson credits his golf game to his coach and how he has helped improve throughout the years. Hudson has become a rising star in Louisville High School sports as he continues to impress many that watch him.
Hudson talked about his season and his memories from the year. Hudson said, “The best memory from the season was our seven wins with the team.” Hudson is still a Junior and will play for the Rocks one more time next year in his senior season.
The KHSAA State Championship was held at Bowling Green Country Club starting on Thursday, October 5. Hudson started Friday off with a 75 (+3). Saturday, October 7, Hudson shot a 78 (+6). He shot +9 in two days and finished tied for 19th in the state. Not the result that Hudson wanted, but the future is bright for Hudson’s senior season.
