Shamrocks give in many forms – among them the annual celebration, blood drives, Jarrett’s Joy Cart and numerous service events. · The annual celebraTion was held at the Olmsted Mar. 16. The hundreds who attended the dinner added greatly to the school’s financial aid budget and support for activities and athletics. The celebraTion work was chaired by Millicent Meehan, who was assisted by many volunteers. · Teacher Mr. Mike Budniak is organizing work with Operation Brightside for Mayor Greg Fisher’s Service Day on Saturday, Apr. 13. The group will be cleaning a section of Westport Road around Westport Middle School from 9-11 a.m. that day. · If clean-up isn’t your thing, there will also be the last Habitat for Humanity work day of the year the following Saturday, Apr. 20, from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Please see Mr. Budniak if interested in either of these work days.
