Trinity students, faculty and staff gathered in Steinhauser Gymnasium this morning to hear an address by Louisville Mayor Greg Fischer, Class of 1976, about the impact Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. had on the Civil Rights Movement. Fischer spoke about the necessity for everyone to contribute on the journey toward justice for all. Following a bible reading by Senior Class President Chris Hubbard, Trinity counselor Mr. Steve Ferman introduced Fischer. Trinity Principal Dan Zoeller presented Fischer with a Trinity Alumni shirt following the mayor’s address.
