Hundreds of Trinity students gathered to relish their academic success with an awards ceremony. The annual Shamrock Awards luncheon was held in the Grand Ballroom of the Galt House Hotel on September 22.
The event kicked off Pride Week, continually reminding students to take pride in academics, not just sports. The main speaker of the event, Trinity alum Jesse Ryan said, “The values that I learned in the 80s are no different than the values that your sons are learning now,” demonstrating that Trinity is going to continue to be rooted in academics while molding men of faith and men of character for generations to come.
Among those honored were students who achieved honor roll for all four quarters of the prior year, and who have maintained an overall average of 80% or above each semester in class. Each student received an award of a chenille shamrock that was intentionally designed to look like a varsity sports letter.
The luncheon highlighted the importance of academic achievement at Trinity, with students being recognized for their dedication and excellence. By fostering both academic pride and personal growth, the school continues its mission to develop men of faith and character.
